UN Women Afghanistan seeks a responsible partner to deliver livelihood skills and business development training to women entrepreneurs and to provide grant equipment support to women-led businesses in six provinces of Afghanistan (Balkh, Bamyan, Herat, Kandahar, Nangarhar, and Kabul).

The project aims to promote women-led businesses and to strengthen women’s economic agency.

Women’s economic empowerment in one district of Balochistan, Pakistan

Submission deadline: 24 June 2022

The project “Women’s Economic Empowerment” will work directly with at least 750 women workers and women-owned businesses in Quetta, mobilizing them, forming them into functioning groups, and connecting them with a range of services and resources (access to finance, markets, skills development, and enterprise development, etc.).

Efforts will also be made to train women to maintain a mobile financial wallet for which linkage will be established with the relevant service providers and private sector.
