The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of gender-responsive budgeting to ensure key prevention and response measures to eliminate violence against women and girls remain resourced as part of the COVID-19 response measures.

The target women beneficiaries will be provided with trainings in life skills, financial literacy, and will be supported to enhance access to resources like Microfinance and other government led social protection programmes. Activities will also focus on raising awareness around the VAW and GBV and will include men and boys for garnering support to the women in family.
